Popcorn In The Bag
You Will Need
1/4 cup popping corn (OR a little more than 3 Tablespoons)
brown paper lunch bag
stapler
butter, optional
salt, optional

This is a healthier and less expensive version compared to pre-packaged microwave popcorn. Children enjoy making their own.

Serves 1
What To Do
Open the bag and pour in the popping corn. Fold top of bag over 1/2 inch and staple it twice. Place bag flat on its side in microwave oven.  Shake it a bit to spread out the popcorn.

Microwave on high for about 2 to 3 minutes or until the popping slows down to a rate of 5 seconds between pops.  Carefully remove the staples and open the bag.  Contents will be HOT!  Add optional butter and salt.
Close the top of the bag and shake to distribute the butter and salt.

Note:  To eliminate kernels left in the bottom of the bowl after popping, store your unpoped popcorn in the freezer.
