Raisin Oatmeal Strudel
You Will Need
1/4 cup whole oats (such as Quaker Quick – 1 minute oats)
1 tablespoon raisins

1 teaspoon brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 cup water or nonfat milk

Topping:

2 tablespoons nonfat milk
1 tablespoon low-fat granola
Serves 1
What To Do
Place the first four ingredients in a microwave safe bowl. Add the water or milk. Microwave on high for 1 1/2 to 2 minutes. Stir. Top with nonfat milk and low-fat granola.

Note: This simple breakfast or snack recipe is a good source of fiber and costs less than 20 cents. If you’re running late for work, you can put the dry ingredients (except the granola) in a plastic bag. At the office, put the contents in a microwave safe bowl, add water or milk and microwave.  This will satisfy your hunger all morning.
