Stress Reduction Recipe
  • Get up 15 minutes early so you don’t have to rush.
  • Never wear ill-fitting clothing or shoes.
  • Use off-peak hours for shopping and errands.
  • Get things fixed right away. Don’t put up with anything that doesn’t work.   
  • Use preventive maintenance – anything that breaks down causes stress.  Service cars, appliances, etc. regularly.
  • Walk whenever you can.  Physical activity will help you relax and unwind.
  • Anticipate needs (e.g., gasoline, umbrella, cash, healthy snacks, bottled water).
  • Say “no” more often to unrewarding activities.
  • Duplicate all keys.
